From scooters to sports and adventure motorcycles
Suzuki's UK range has included GSX-R sports bikes, GSX-S street and touring models, V-Strom adventure motorcycles, the Hayabusa, Burgman and smaller scooters, plus long-running road-bike families such as the SV. Each type of bike needs its own details and photos.
Give the complete model name, engine size, version and year. Where a model name spans generations, clear dashboard, bodywork and registration information helps a dealer identify the motorcycle being offered without relying on assumptions.
Tell us your model, version and features
The version is the extra part of the model name, such as Sport, GT or RS. If you are unsure, check your registration document or service book and tell us what you know.
These popular Suzuki models need different details and photos.
GSX-R and Hayabusa
Sports-focused motorcycles need detailed fairing, engine-case, wheel, control and tyre photographs, with track use, drops or replacement panels described.
GSX-S, Katana and SV
For street bikes, list exhaust, tail, lever, screen, luggage or suspension changes and identify original parts included with the sale.
V-Strom
Adventure and touring sellers should document panniers, top box, protection, screens, wheel condition and signs of off-road or winter use.
Burgman and smaller scooters
Show storage, floorboards, body panels, dashboard and all keys, and provide context for commuter mileage and servicing.
Suzuki information dealers can use
Include details and photos that show your model and how it has been used.
- Full model, version, model year, engine size and current mileage.
- Service book and invoices, including maintenance or major work you have records for.
- All ignition, immobiliser and luggage keys supplied with the motorcycle.
- MOT status, advisories, dashboard warnings and known faults.
- Factory or aftermarket luggage, screens, exhausts, protection and other included equipment.
- Finance, import status, write-off history, previous damage or repairs where relevant.
Describe your Suzuki's condition and use
Sports-bike mileage may be interpreted differently from regular commuter or touring mileage, but service records and current condition still matter. State any track use, long-term storage, winter use or touring use that helps explain the motorcycle's wear.
Show any rust, damaged panels, scratches on the engine or wheels, and tyres, brakes or chains that need replacing soon. If the bike has a replacement exhaust, engine tuning or other changes to performance, tell us what was done. Include any records of the work and say whether the original parts are available.
Show a dealer how your Suzuki has been used
Use full side, front and rear views plus dashboard mileage, wheels, tyres, engine and controls. Add fairing and case close-ups for a GSX-R or Hayabusa, luggage and underside views for a V-Strom, and storage and panels for a Burgman.
Photograph fitted accessories and original parts included. If a panel has been repaired or replaced, show its current finish in neutral daylight and explain the reason in the profile.
How MotorGeeks dealer offers work
Enter your registration or add your motorcycle details yourself, then tell us its mileage, condition, service history, features and accessories. Add clear photos so approved dealers can review your bike and decide whether to make an offer. You can compare offers and there is no obligation to accept one.
If you accept, the selected dealer receives the contact information needed to discuss inspection, payment and collection or handover. The motorcycle must still match its description, and the purchase is completed directly with the dealer. Read the UK motorbike selling guide before handover.
Suzuki seller questions
Can I sell a Suzuki with a replacement exhaust?
Yes. Tell us the make of exhaust if you know it, whether the original exhaust is included, and about any engine tuning or changes to the engine computer (ECU).
Should I mention track use?
Yes. Tell us how the bike has been used, including any damage or repairs, so dealers can make an informed offer.
Do V-Strom panniers affect the profile?
List the luggage and mounting equipment included, show its condition and provide all available keys.
