How does MotorGeeks work?

How is my motorbike valued?
MotorGeeks does not promise a fixed price. Dealers consider the motorcycle's age, model, mileage, condition, service history, MOT status, photographs and current demand before deciding whether to make an offer.
Do I have to accept an offer?
No. Submitting your motorcycle is free and does not oblige you to accept an offer. You decide whether an offer works for you.
Can I sell a motorbike with outstanding finance?
Tell us if there is money still owed on the bike. Ask your finance company how much is needed to pay it off, then agree with the dealer how this will be paid before completing the sale.
Can I sell a motorcycle without an MOT?
You can still submit a motorcycle without a current MOT. Its MOT status and any known faults may affect dealer interest and the offers you receive.
What photos should I upload?
Include clear photographs of the front, rear, both sides, dashboard or mileage, service history and any damage. Honest, well-lit photos help dealers assess the motorcycle accurately.
Does mileage affect my motorbike's value?
Mileage is one factor dealers consider alongside age, condition, maintenance, ownership history, fitted features and demand. A well-maintained higher-mileage bike may still attract interest.
What happens after I accept a dealer offer?
The successful dealer receives the contact details needed to discuss the motorcycle, confirm its condition and arrange payment and collection or handover. The sale is completed directly with that dealer.
Who buys my motorcycle?
MotorGeeks introduces your motorcycle to approved motorcycle dealers. If you accept an offer, you arrange the sale directly with that dealer.
Does MotorGeeks buy the motorcycle?
No. MotorGeeks helps you connect with approved dealers and compare their offers. You sell directly to your chosen dealer after they have checked the bike and agreed the sale with you.
